We&#8217;ll look at the importance of textile work in communities, the fibers used and some of the fabulous stories and interesting historical facts surrounding this work. We&#8217;ll see how the Scandinavians combined textiles and spirituality, and how this has been observed by the scientific community. This talk is brought to you by Maggie L\u00e9pine, of the Gwenwyvaar Artisane Textile project. Maggie has been a textile enthusiast for 14 years and a Viking-era reconstructionist for 8.
