In this lecture, you’ll learn about different tools and their historical background, as well as the main textile works of everyday Viking life. We’ll look at the importance of textile work in communities, the fibers used and some of the fabulous stories and interesting historical facts surrounding this work. We’ll see how the Scandinavians combined textiles and spirituality, and how this has been observed by the scientific community.
